A softer, rounded take on the Ray-Ban classic, with a keyhole bridge, a 12 MP camera, open-ear speakers, five microphones and Meta AI built in. It also comes in a Low Bridge Fit for flatter or lower nose bridges, so it sits at the right height instead of resting on your cheeks. Capture a moment, take a call, listen to music or ask Meta AI a question without reaching for your phone.

Fit and sizing
- Standard (50 mm) suits most faces.
- Low Bridge Fit (51 mm) has taller nose pads for flatter or lower nose bridges and higher cheekbones. It keeps the frame off your cheeks and your eyes in the centre of the lenses.
Gen 2 or Gen 3?
Gen 2 is the lower-priced way into Ray-Ban Meta. It has the same 12 MP camera, 3K video, open-ear audio, Meta AI and storage as Gen 3. If you'd like more battery and clearer calls outdoors, look at the Gen 3 range, which adds an hour of battery, a sixth microphone and a smaller camera opening. The Headliner shape isn't part of Gen 3.

Lenses and colours
Choose your fit, lens and frame colour above. G15 Green is the classic Ray-Ban sun lens, polarised lenses cut glare off water and roads, and Transitions lenses are clear indoors and darken outdoors. Prices run from NZ$759 for clear or sun lenses to NZ$819 polarised and NZ$919 with Transitions.
Yes, they take your prescription
Single vision, progressive, sun tint, blue-light filter or Transitions. The frame houses the camera and electronics, so higher prescriptions, prisms and some specialty designs may fall outside the supported range. We check yours before you commit, and prescription lenses are quoted separately.
Why buy them from an optometrist
These aren't an ordinary pair of glasses, and they shouldn't be posted out like a phone case. The electronics sit in the temples, the weight sits differently on your face, and if there's a prescription in them the optical centres still have to line up with your pupils.

What is the Low Bridge Fit?
It's a version of the Headliner with taller nose pads, made for flatter or lower nose bridges and higher cheekbones. If standard frames slide down or sit on your cheeks, try the Low Bridge Fit.
Is this Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 or Gen 3?
This is Gen 2. It has a 12 MP camera, 3K video, open-ear speakers, a 5-microphone array, Meta AI and up to 8 hours of battery. Gen 3 adds up to an hour of battery, a 6-microphone array, a customisable action button and a smaller camera opening, from NZ$809.
Can I get prescription lenses in these?
Yes, for most prescriptions, subject to the frame and your prescription range. Our optometrist team checks your prescription before you commit, and prescription lenses are quoted separately.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 8 hours per charge, with up to 48 more hours from the charging case, and up to 50% in 20 minutes. Heavy video or AI use drains it faster.
Which phones work with Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2?
iOS and Android phones with the Meta AI app installed. Check that your phone's software is up to date before you order.
Can they record without people knowing?
No. A capture light on the frame turns on whenever the camera is recording, and the glasses won't take photos or video if that light is covered.
Are they waterproof?
No. They're splash and sweat resistant, but not for swimming or heavy rain.
