Hylo-Forte and Hylo-Fresh — preservative-free, 300 doses a bottle

Hylo is a sodium hyaluronate drop in a preservative-free multi-dose bottle. That combination matters: you get the comfort of preservative-free without the waste and cost of single-use vials.

Forte or Fresh?

  • Hylo-Fresh (0.1%) — lighter. Mild to moderate dryness, screen fatigue, contact-lens comfort.
  • Hylo-Forte (0.2%) — twice the concentration. Moderate to severe dryness, post-surgical, or when Fresh isn't lasting between doses.

If you're going through a bottle of something else every fortnight, Forte is likely both more comfortable and cheaper.

Why we stock it

Preservatives — benzalkonium chloride in particular — are toxic to the ocular surface with repeated use. If you're dosing more than four times daily, preservative-free isn't a luxury, it's the correct choice. Hylo's valve system keeps the bottle sterile for six months after opening without needing them.
