Optimel Antibacterial Manuka Eye Drops contain standardised antibacterial Manuka honey (Leptospermum sp.) for the management of moderate to severe dry eye and blepharitis. Manuka honey's natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties help rebalance the ocular surface and lid margin.

Instil 1 drop into each eye 2–3 times daily, or as directed by your optometrist. A brief sting on application is normal and settles within seconds. If using other drops, wait a few minutes between products.

Diagnosed with Sjogrens disease and not finding relief, I tried the Optimel Manuka drops for dry eye! They are worth the burning for approx 20 seconds! It is natural alcohol in the honey and its stings but passes quickly. The whites of my eyes are white again! My dry eye specialist was amazed at my improvement! Wipe eyes after so eyelashes aren’t sticky!
They are great
Easy process
They really stung my eyes so I wasn’t happy with them sorry!!
They hurt my eyes
I note that you have said that Optimel Stings. This is absolutely true, were you prescribed this from an optometrist? We normally explain as it is anti-inflammatory and anti infective. It is used as a specific treatment.
If you need help with a treatment plan then please feel free to reach out and book a Dry eye Evaluation.
