The KS1 Continuous Ketone Monitor (CKM) is a wearable sensor that continuously measures ketone levels, providing real-time data to help manage ketogenic diets, diabetes care and metabolic health — without repeated finger-prick tests.

Who it's for

  • People following ketogenic or low-carb diets
  • People with type 1 or type 2 diabetes (alongside their usual care team)
  • Athletes and biohackers tracking metabolic performance

How it works

A small sensor applied to the arm or abdomen reads ketone levels from interstitial fluid and transmits them to a companion app, showing real-time levels, trend charts and alerts for highs and lows. Most sensors last 7–14 days before replacement — see pack details.

How to use

Apply the sensor to clean, dry skin following the pack instructions, pair it with the app, and wear it through daily activity. Mild skin irritation at the site is uncommon but possible — remove and seek advice if it occurs.

Key details

  • Continuous readings vs one-off finger-prick tests — see patterns, not snapshots
  • Companion app with trends, alerts and insights
  • Sensor wear time typically 7–14 days
  • Talk to your GP or diabetes team before changing insulin or medication based on readings
